Bill Cosby (85) has been slapped with yet another lawsuit from a former Playboy model Victoria Valentino for allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting her in 1969.
Cosby was released from prison in 2021 when his sexual assault conviction was overturned.
According to The Shade Room Valentino filed the civil suit in California on Thursday, June 1st.
She also described how she met Cosby at a Los Angeles café about 54 years ago. At the time, Valentino was reportedly mourning the drowning death of her 6-year-old son.
Bill Cosby, she says, approached her while she was crying and eventually offered to pay for a spa treatment for Valentino and a friend. He later allegedly provided a chauffeured car that brought the women to dinner at a steakhouse.
In a lawsuit she alleges that the assault took place after she had dinner with Cosby, He offered pills to her and her friend and after ingesting the pills, Cosby took them to a nearby office where she became unconscious and was assaulted after waking up.
Valentino details the interaction between her and Cosby, she said she told him that she “want to go home now”, according to the filing it details that Valentino was “incapable of consent” and “physically helpless”.
Valentino is seeking unspecified damages, court and attorney fees.
In a statement, she said that the trauma caused by Cosby has not only affected her but her children and grandkids.
“By breaking my silence and speaking my truth, I hope this serves as my legacy to my family, and shows those survivors who have yet to find their voices, that hope and healing are possible,” she said in the statement shared with US media.
A representative for Mr Cosby, Andrew Wyatt, told US media outlets Ms Valentino’s claims were “without any proof or facts” and said she had “inconsistencies in her many statements”.
This is not the first time that Bill Cosby has been accused of sexual assault as last year he was ordered to pay $500,000 in damages after in a civil case, a jury in California found Cosby had sexually assaulted a 16-year-old in 1975 at the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles.
