Are you shocked? Well so are we as John Legend and Chrissy Teigen announce the birth of their fourth child, a baby boy named Wren via surrogacy five months after the birth of their daughter Esti.
In January 2023 the couple welcomed their daughter Esti after the loss of their baby Jack mid-way through pregnancy.
With the new addition to the family, the couple now have four children. Luna (7) who was also born in 2016, Miles (5) who was born in 2018, Esti who was born in 2023 and Wren who’s born in 2023 just five months after the third child.
In 2021 Chrissy revealed that she and John were pursuing surrogacy as an option.
“For as long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted four children,” Chrissy said.
They subsequently met their “perfect match” surrogate, Alexandra, who was the inspiration for Wren’s middle name.
“All our wishes and dreams aligned,” Teigen gushed of meeting Alexandra. “I wanted to be her friend, I wanted our children to play, I wanted dinner together, I wanted to lay my head on her belly and be able to feel the hiccups and kicks. I wanted them to be in our lives.”
