    Thuso Mbedu to be part Miss SA 2023 finale judging panel

    L’Oréal Paris has revealed that our very own South African-born actress Thuso Mbedu will be one of the judges at the Miss South Africa 2023 finale held at SunBet Arena at Time Square in Pretoria on Sunday the 13th of August.

    The international actress and  L’Oréal Paris Sub-Saharan Ambassador is set to be one of the judges on the Miss SA 2023 judging panel, and in her role as a judge, she will be bringing her unique perspective and experiences to the competition, encouraging the contestants to embrace their individuality and walk confidently.

    Her presence will is set to inspire the finalists to focus not only on their external beauty but also on their inner strength and resilience, a statement from L’Oréal Paris read.

    Ayanda Mackay, who is the Marketing Manager for L’Oréal Paris Skin and Hair said they are honoured to have the L’Oréal Paris Sub-Saharan Ambassador Thuso Mbedu join the Miss South Africa 2023 judging panel.

    “This partnership allows us to support and uplift women as they redefine what it means to be a beauty queen. We believe that when women are empowered, they can achieve anything they set their minds to, and we are thrilled to be a part of this incredible platform,” she added.

    It was back in May when L’Oréal Paris announced Mbedu as an ambassador. Taking to the brand’s Instagram page, L’Oréal Paris captioned the post: “We are thrilled to announce the talented South African actress @Thuso.Mbedu as a new brand ambassador and spokesperson for L’Oréal Paris in the Sub-Saharan Africa region.”
