The Soweto Giants, Kaizer Chiefs are really serious about securing the Orlando Pirates target. They are willing to offer one of their players and R10 MILLION to make sure they get his signature.
The two soccer teams have been having a bidding war, trying to outbid one another in an attempt to sign Sibongiseni Mthethwa.
The Stellenbosch FC and Bafana Bafana midfielder is currently hot property, and Amakhosi have upped the staked by throwing a couple million extra as well as a player.
Kaizer Chiefs initially were reportedly offering R8 million for Mthethwa, new reports however, have it that Chiefs have substantially increased their offer.
Chiefs are said to be now offering R2 MILLION more (R10 MILLION). They are also willing to add a player to sweeten the deal. “They have apparently made an offer of R10million but they also want to add a player on top of the money,” the report read on SoccerLaduma.
As a matter of fact, news have it that Amakhosi management already have a plan on how to use him. “Kaizer Chiefs’ technical team have a plan already on how to use Sibongiseni (Mthethwa) when they might sign him,” the source added.
Kaizer Chiefs are aiming to utilize him in the midfield alongside Edson Castillo and Yusuf Maart. “They want Edson (Castillo) to play a more attacking and free role while Mthethwa and Yusuf Maart will be the defensive duo,” the insider added.
