One of the biggest designers in South Africa, Laduma Ngxokolo has become a proud father for the first time.
The award-winning designer and the founder of one of the biggest fashion brands in South Africa, MaXhosa, welcomed his first baby.
To share the exciting news, Ngxokolo took to his Instagram page to post a few pictures from the hospital as he revealed his first child’s name. He captioned the post by writing: “I became uTata ka Qamata [Qamata’s dad] on 24/09/2023. So excited about this new journey of being a father to our precious little girl. Shout out to uMama ka Qamata [Qamata’s mom] for carrying our bundle of joy for so long ????????❤️,”
Also sharing his gratitude, he went on to write: “Lastly, shout out to all the medical professionals who ensured the journey was a success and [a] fun one. Many thanks [to] Dr. Sihlabele, Dr. Silver, [and] Dr. Ubomba ????,”
Laduma Ngxokolo is not much of a man on the spotlight, he is a very private man. The one thing that we do know though, is that he is a passionate fashion designer.
Reports have it that his late mother taught him hand-machine knitting when he was in Grade 8. It is said that he has previously admitted not having been an overachiever in high school, nonetheless, he is still reported to have managed to become the first to graduate with a diploma in his family.
