Watch: Stogie T pays tribute to AKA and other celebs with single ‘Survivor’s Guilt’

The rapper that has been in the music industry for decades, and also the close friend for the late AKA, Stogie T has released a single called ‘Survivor’s Guilt’, paying tribute to AKA and the fallen stars from the recent years.

Taking to his timeline to share the video to his track, he captioned his post by writing: “Survivor’s Guilt “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.”  Psalm 51:10”

On his track, Stogie T references the death of Costa Titch, the assassination of AKA and Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane and Riky Rick’s passing, asking the listener how they heard of the tragic reports about the rappers.

“My little brother, was killed brother. Helped mold his career. I got guilt brother. Was all hip hop brother, maybe we wasn’t even friends. Trying to be the mentor till the tragic end.”- he raps.

In one of the verses, the musician pens “Nigg*s became heirs. Popping off trying to climb charts on the 8th leg. Where I’m from you need arms, they slay men. Take care or get your ticket punched no train fair. Be happy with your Caymen, you do not know the price that 911 came with. Costly payment for these lofty attainments. If it’s all entertainment, how we lost all these great men? We mourn. Same thing. Rise or the fall, black suits on we bond when the sky fall.”

Nasty C also has a song dedicated to AKA. The ‘Eazy’ hitmaker’s recent public performances have included his tribute to the late rapper, and his album launch was no different.
