The Marketing Director for Kaizer Chiefs, Jessica Motaung is the newly appointed African Club Association (ACA) vice-president.
Most recently during the ACA’s inaugural meeting, a new board of the African Club Association was elected into office in Cairo, Egypt.
Chairing the meeting was the CAF President, Patrice Motsepe and reports have it that he was the mastermind behind the new association, which is mandated to oversee the African club’s development and address their woes.
Elected as the inaugural chairman of ACA is the Young African President Hersi A. and he will be serving with with two deputies, Jessica Motaung and Nigeria’s Paul Bassey from Akwa United.
Motaung also sits on the CAF and SAFA women’s committee. Speaking on the sidelines of her appointment with African football journalist Osasu Obayiuwana, she said, “Well a very significant moment, not just for Kaizer Chiefs but for African football.”
