Earlier this week, the 50-year-old television personality and actor shared that he had endured a ‘busted’ eye during what appeared to be a rigorous jiu-jitsu session.

The Saved by the Bell alum took to Instagram, posting a couple of selfies showcasing his injury, including a black eye and visible facial swelling.

Nevertheless, Lopez didn’t allow his rough appearance to interfere with his television commitments later in the day. In another photo, he is seen on set looking as good as new.

“A little makeup magic, and just like that…we’re back on TV!” he wrote in the caption of his post.

The Access Hollywood star is no stranger to the world of makeup, having collaborated earlier this year with e.l.f. Cosmetics to launch the brand’s limited-edition Sticky Shop merch inspired by the viral Power Grip Primer.

Currently, Lopez is actively engaged both on-screen and behind the scenes with his eponymous line of sneakers.

In other aspects of his life, he has much to celebrate with his wife, Courtney Lopez, and their three children: Santiago, 4, Dominic, 10, and Gia, 13.

The family recently marked Thanksgiving, with Lopez sharing a video on Instagram depicting how they embrace the holiday spirit.

“We really don’t have any staples other than obviously we’re all together as a family,” Lopez explained regarding his Thanksgiving traditions. They typically gather either at his home, ‘Casa Lopez,’ or his sister Marissa Wong’s house.

“We just make sure we’re all together,” he added, accompanied by an adorable photo of the family of five dressed in PJs and gathered in one bed.

Their Thanksgiving feast includes the classic turkey, along with Italian and Mexican dishes, accompanied by plenty of ‘good drinks’ and ‘good movies.’

And in matters of style, the couple agrees on one thing: “We’re in sweats. We don’t get dressed up,” Courtney revealed regarding her household’s holiday dress code.
