The American producer, actress and musician, Selena Gomez is one talented human being. She has a brand new cooking show with her Food Network show, “Selena + Chef: Home for the Holidays”.

According to her, this is a “culinary education” and she tries her best to soak up all the advice.

Gomez is trying her hand at making various culinary dishes under the patient and helpful guidance of the industry’s finest in this series, and viewers also get the chance to see her grandparents and BFFs. One thing about the entrepreneur, she fumbles in the kitchen but she’s okay with it. And her ride-or-die Raquelle Stevens is always a hilarious distraction.

Claudette Zepeda helps Gomez prepare a Mexican feast for the holidays in the final episode. The menu includes tamales filled with spicy pork, roast ham with salsa matcha, charred poblano rice and a salad with a twist.

“Selena + Chef: Home for the Holidays” airs on Food Network (DStv channel 175) on Thursdays at 6pm. Check the schedule for repeats.
