The couple revealed their exciting baby news in Uchis’ new music video for ‘Tu Corazón Es Mio.’

Kali Uchis is going to be a mom!

Last Thursday, the 29-year-old singer shared exciting news in the music video for “Tu Corazón Es Mio,” revealing that she and her boyfriend, Don Toliver, 29, are expecting their first child together. The video captures Uchis’ pregnancy journey, including moments of the couple attending an ultrasound appointment. Throughout the video, Uchis proudly displays her baby bump, and there’s an adorable scene of Toliver kissing her belly.

Uchis and Toliver both posted the video on Instagram, accompanied by a joint message: “Embarking on parenthood ❤️‍????Little one, don’t keep us waiting too long. Mom and Dad are eagerly anticipating sharing our lives with you.”

On her Instagram Stories, Uchis expressed her joy, saying, “The most profound moment of my life was when we first heard your heartbeat. Since then, our new family has already shown me a love I’ve never known. Here’s to a lifetime of more profound moments.” Toliver also shared his excitement on his Instagram Stories, stating, “We’re ready for you” and urging the little one to arrive soon.

Toliver confirmed his relationship with Uchis in a 2021 interview with WMagazine, emphasizing their preference for privacy. He mentioned their trip to Colombia, where Uchis’ family resides, to shoot music videos for his songs “What You Need” and “Drugs N Hella Melodies” from his 2021 album, Life of a Don. Toliver explained that he had planned to incorporate Uchis into the videos to make it an authentic experience, and during the trip, he had the opportunity to meet some of Uchis’ family members.

While Uchis and Toliver have a history of collaboration, their upcoming family addition is undoubtedly their most special project yet. Uchis’ second Spanish-language album and fourth LP overall, Orquídeas, is set to release on Jan. 12.
