    United We Stand Moments 

    South Africa was one proud country in 2023! It was one triumph after another in the sports industry, and there was unity even in the important matters that are still taking place even this year in the African continent. 

    Below are some of the highlights from our ‘United we stand moment’: 

    SA backing Boks for Rugby World Cup: 

    The country came out in numbers to support the Springboks for the rugby world cup. Clubs, complexes and estates were shut down, and it was a proud moment when the Boks lifted the cup.

    Banyana Banyana makes SA proud at Women’s World Cup 

    Even though the team didn’t take the Women’s World Cup, the country was very excited to watch them play. Some of the players even got marriage proposals. 

    South Africa stand with Palestine: 

    South Africa got tired of the world’s deafening silence on apartheid Israel’s ongoing genocide of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. 

    Expansion of BRICS, seeking a new world order: 

    BRICS added more countries to the table so that a bloc of major emerging economies could represent the interests of the developing world.   

    SA Proteas make semis for the cricket world cup: 

    Right after the Rugby world cup, the Proteas took center stage at the cricket world cup, and they made Mzansi proud when they made it to the semifinals.
