    This popular shot is known for both its presentation and ingredients. Often enjoyed by women and a staple at bachelorette parties, it’s a fun addition to any gathering. With just a few ingredients and the right technique, you can easily make this at your next party and become the talk of the town.

    • 1/2 ounce of coffee liqueur
    • 1 ounce of Irish cream
    • Whipped cream


    1. Pour the coffee liqueur: Start by pouring 1/2 an ounce of coffee liqueur into a shot glass, filling about 1/3 of the glass.
    2. Pour the Irish cream: Carefully pour 1 ounce of Irish cream into the shot glass, aiming to layer it on top of the coffee liqueur. You want a clear distinction between the two liqueurs. If you’re having trouble layering them, try tilting the shot glass and pouring the Irish cream gently down the side.
    3. Top with whipped cream: Finish the shot by adding a dollop of whipped cream on top. Shake the can of whipped cream well, then spray it over the shot to cover the top.

    While Irish cream is the traditional choice, some variations use Amaretto almond liqueur or a combination of banana and orange liqueurs. For these variations, use 1 ounce of Amaretto or 1/2 an ounce of each banana and orange liqueurs.

    To take the shot:

    1. Position yourself: Stand in front of the shot with your hands behind your back. If you have long hair, ensure it’s pulled back to avoid getting whipped cream in it.
    2. Pick up the shot: Bend over and take the shot glass in your mouth, ensuring your lips cover the entire edge securely.
    3. Take the shot: Lift your head back, allowing the shot to flow into your mouth. Remove the empty shot glass from your mouth and place it back on the table.
