It looks like most of our celebrities are slowly but surely becoming DJ’s one by one, but the question that the fans have is, is it because of passion or chasing clout?
The one to make her debut this past weekend behind the decks is the ever so talented actress and presenter Pearl Thusi, with a performance at the Makhelwane Festival. The star did reveal late last year that she’s excited about creating music during an interview on DJ Fresh’s YouTube podcast, ‘What A Week (WAW)’. “I’m actually making music,” she told DJ Fresh.
During her first gig, attended by celebrity friends like Nadia Nakai and her daughter Thando Mokoena, Thusi expressed gratitude to God for carrying her through the hour of her set.
Pearl took to her Instagram page to share some highlights from her set, and thanked everyone who contributed to making the day perfect. She captioned her first post from the evening by saying: BAD GYAL NO WASTE TIME! Thank you to everyone who made yesterday perfect! Thank you God! Thokozani! Thank you to my team from @lmrelations & Thaha Music. Thank you to the Makhelwane organizers for trusting me ! ????”
