Rapper Shebeshxt flips the script with a brand-new ride just days after narrowly escaping a car accident.
After his prized Golf GTI bit the dust in a recent accident—a whip he splashed almost R400,000 cash on—Shebeshxt wasted no time in leveling up and getting a new one.
While the exact price tag of his latest buy remains a mystery, Shebeshxt teased fans with a glimpse of not one, but two Polos parked side by side in his yard.
Known offstage as Lehogonolo Chauke, the rapper emerged unscathed from the crash that reduced his two-month-old ride to scrap metal. The incident went down during a routine drive from Seshego to Polokwane’s town center.
Shebeshxt previously boasted about purchasing the white Polo GTI, without a hint of hesitation. His boldness was on full display in a YouTube video where he flaunted his cash-only approach, cheekily titling it “New car GTi Danko, this isn’t [bought by] installments.”
“This is a beast, boy. I bought it yesterday … no, it’s not [from] installments. I coughed out all the money, they wanted R372,000 and I gave it to them cash,” he proclaimed in the video, punctuating his statement with a mix of swagger and broken isiZulu.
