    The Soil releases “Reimagined” album

    South African a capella group The Soil has released their latest offering, an 11-track album titled “Reimagined.” Available for streaming and download on major digital platforms, the album marks the group’s return after a hiatus, introducing a new vocalist, Theo Matshoba.

    “Reimagined” represents The Soil’s fifth studio album, featuring collaborations with Thee Legacy, Mduduzo Mkhathini, Bokani Dyer, and Joel Klein among others. Preceding the album release was the lead single “Thandwa Ndim,” which debuted in October of the previous year.

    Accompanying the album is the Reimagined Tour, promising a celebration of the group’s signature sound enriched with a fresh dynamic that is both intense and spiritually uplifting. Renowned for their soulful harmonies and captivating stage presence, The Soil’s fusion of kasi soul, jazz, and gospel influences has gained international acclaim.

    With Theo Matshoba seamlessly blending into the ensemble, The Soil’s sound is poised for greater heights, ensuring an unforgettable experience at each tour stop.

    The Reimagined Tour commences in Cape Town at the Star Theatre on March 9th, promising an electrifying performance that sets the tone for the rest of the tour. From there, The Soil will mesmerize audiences in Tshwane at the State Theatre on April 26th, followed by a show at the Boardwalk Hotel and Casino in Gqeberha.

    Continuing their musical journey, The Soil will also grace the iconic Soweto Theatre on August 23rd, bringing their infectious energy to their hometown. They will then head to Durban for a performance at the Playhouse on September 27th before concluding their tour in Bloemfontein at the Pacofs Theatre on October 26th.
