The 31-year-old singer took a moment to thank her loved ones and extended a sweet shoutout to viewers at home. She said despite the significance of the Grammy, she hopes it won’t alter the beauty of her life, which she deemed “beautiful yesterday.”
Cyrus also jokingly said: “Not everyone in the world will get a Grammy, but everyone in this world is spectacular.” She thanked her team, including Tom, Tyler, Michael, and Greg, as well as her record label, Crush, and Columbia. The singer extended thanks to her family, including her mother, sister, and her “main gays.”
As she concluded her speech with a playful remark about potentially forgetting underwear, Cyrus did not mention her father, Billy Ray Cyrus.
