Jonzing World, the Nigerian record label linked with launching Rema and Ruger to Afrobeats stardom, has introduced its newest addition – the label’s first-ever female artist.
Meet Bagetti, the Lagos-born songstress who joins the label’s recent signings, Gdzilla and Glorious, aiming to follow in the footsteps of Rema (now with Mavin Global) and the newly independent Ruger.
Following hints on social media, Bagetti’s official introduction is just in time for the release of her debut single, “Hard Girl.” This vibrant post-breakup anthem features a warm, Kizomba-inspired beat, as the new Jonzing sensation moves past heartbreak with resilience. With lyrics like “Eye wey dey cry no dey see road,” she captures the essence of Nigerian wisdom.
“Hard Girl” marks a promising start for Bagetti, demonstrating her ability to transform relatable experiences into powerful music moments. It sets the stage for her upcoming debut EP, “New Dawn,” slated for release on March 15.
