Internet sensation Jake Paul is going to enter the boxing ring against former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson in a highly anticipated fight. The fight will be streamed live by Netflix on July 20th and will take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, the home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys.
Both Paul, 27, and Tyson, who will be 58 at the time of the fight, confirmed the fight on their official social media pages.
Tyson wrote “We signed the contract.”
Paul, known for his YouTube fame, called it “the biggest fight of the 21st century” and added to the magnitude of the event being broadcast on Netflix, one of the world’s largest streaming platforms.
Paul shared his excitement, saying, “My sights are set on becoming a world champion, and now I have a chance to prove myself against the greatest heavyweight champion of the world, the baddest man on the planet and the most dangerous boxer of all time. Time to put Iron Mike to sleep.”
Good luck to both Paul and Tyson.
