South African DJ Lamiez Holworthy is thrilled as many of her dreams came true at Metro FM Music Awards 2024.
Sharing a video on her Instagram account showcasing some of her major highlights from the event, Lamiez shared her gratitude for the opportunity to host the Green Room at the awards, a role she performed flawlessly.
Lamiez reflected on her growth and the realization of her childhood aspirations. She revealed that she had always dreamt of being on SABC 1 and Metro FM, becoming a successful DJ, businesswoman, and supermom while making a positive impact on the world. She also shared a personal revelation, disclosing that her husband, Khuli Chana, was her high school crush.
“Little black girl, ALL your dreams are valid. ???? Growing up, all I wanted to do was be on SABC 1 and Metro FM. All I wanted was to be a fully booked DJ, businesswoman, and SUPERMOM whilst changing the world a little at a time… and now? Now I get to call all those dreams my reality. ????❤️ Ps. Interviewed my high school crush at the awards,” Holworthy wrote.
