Megan Thee Stallion Drops New Single “BOA” and Prepares for “Hot Girl Summer” Tour

The three-time Grammy award-winning superstar, Megan Thee Stallion, has unveiled her latest single, “BOA,” available for streaming via Hot Girl Productions.

In this electrifying new track, Megan delivers her signature fiery bars over LilJuMadeDaBeat’s beat, which cleverly samples Gwen Stefani’s timeless hit “What You Waiting For?” from 2004. With a memorable hook showcasing her Houston roots, Megan boldly asserts her presence in the hip-hop scene, declaring, “Doing shit for TikTok, bitch I’m really hip hop, they all know my shit hot, ain’t listen when yo shit drop, all my diamonds dancing I ain’t need to make no TikTok.”

“BOA” continues Megan’s thematic exploration of serpents, following previous releases like “HISS” in January 2024 and “Cobra” in November 2023. Notably, “HISS” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and made history as the first-ever solo female rap song to achieve this feat on the Billboard Global 200 chart.

Kicking off the music-filled week with a bang, Megan revived #MeganMonday with the surprise release of her “I Think I love Her Freestyle” on social media, showcasing her lyrical prowess over the instrumental of Gucci Mane’s iconic track.

In a recent cover feature for Women’s Health, Megan shared her inspiration behind embracing the snake motif as a symbol of rebirth, highlighting how snakes are often misunderstood yet revered creatures associated with healing and transformation.

As anticipation builds for her upcoming “Hot Girl Summer” Tour, Megan is gearing up for her first-ever headlining arena tour, joined by special guest GloRilla. The domestic leg of the tour commences on May 14 in Minneapolis and concludes in San Francisco on June 23 before heading to Europe.

Megan and GloRilla’s collaborative prowess was recently on display with the release of “Wanna Be,” which debuted at No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 in April. The song’s infectious beat sparked the viral “Wanna Be” challenge, captivating social media platforms worldwide.

Adding to her list of accolades, Megan was honoured at Planned Parenthood’s annual gala with the Catalyst of Change Award. Additionally, she graced the cover of AdWeek and delivered a keynote address at AdWeek’s Social Media Week conference, highlighting her role in bridging the worlds of music and business.
