Amanda Amanda du-Pont’s skincare brand lelive is poised to take the world by storm as it gears up for its much-anticipated global launch in London this month.
Ever since the brand was founded, it has been growing bigger by the year. Combining African botanicals with cutting-edge scientific methodologies, lelive delivers affordable luxury to a market eager for effective skincare solutions.
The brand’s rise has been further pushed by a substantial growth capital investment from Invenfin, the venture capital arm of the South African investment group Remgro Limited. This infusion of capital will grow lelive onto the global stage, fulfilling a pressing need for diverse skincare solutions.
Named after Amanda’s Swati name, Langalelive, which means ‘light of the world,’ lelive caters to a worldwide demand for skincare that addresses varied skin types and tones. Amanda’s personal journey with skincare struggles inspired her to create a product line that champions African ingredients and caters to diverse skin needs.
“After years of struggling with acne-prone skin, countless products, dermatologist visits, and spending so much money, I decided to co-create, with my community, a skincare range that heroes African ingredients and is dedicated to serving diverse skin types,” Amanda shares. “lelive taps into the shift of getting back to basics—simple and effective living, where nature’s source is enough, and toward the solutions our ancestors used that were clean and free from unnecessary harmful additives and fragrances.”
