The speed world is not for the faint-hearted, especially in the world of motto bikes, but those that love speed are going to love this one, happy to introduce the Dodge Tomahawk at the top with 420mph making it the fastest motorcycle ever made. The bike comes with specifications of a top speed of 420 miles per hour. 8.3-liter, V-10 Dodge Viper engine. After extensive research on Top Speed, the high-performance motorcycle is known for creating some bizarre ideas, but few are far more absurd than the Dodge Tomahawk. The Tomahawk, the wildest concept car ever unveiled by Dodge, was made public in 2003.
It was conceptualized by Chrysler Group employees Bob Schroeder and Dave Chyz, it is powered by the 8.3 liter V 10 engine from the Viper muscle car and was first shown at the 2003 North American International Auto Show. Even though it was only meant to be a branding and marketing strategy, up to nine are rumored to have been sold for at least $ 550,000 each in the Neiman Marcus catalog! The Chrysler group received a great deal of exposure for it, largely because of its main talking point- how quickly it moved.
The Dodge Tomahawk was a concept car, hence it didn’t go through the approved testing required to be legally allowed on the road and didn’t follow street use standards. Dodge was using this as an engineering and marketing exercise. To avoid liability, the estimated nine bikes sold through the Neiman Marcus catalog were sold without engines. The fact that they were advertised as “rolling sculptures” didn’t stop the purchaser from making the necessary adjustments to make them operate.
In the world of speed, motto bikes got to be the most fun but however as fun as they are they are extremely dangerous be safe, and arrive alive!
