Media personality Jub Jub has addressed and dismissed any rumours linking him to rapper Shebeshxt, real name is Lehlogonolo Katlego Chauke.
Molemo Maarohanye, aka Jub Jub took to his Instagram account to reveal that that fake Facebook accounts have been scamming people and falsely associating him with Shebeshxt’s car accident.
In a video posted on his Instagram account, the presenter for the show “Uyajola 9/9” criticized the fake accounts pretending to be him on social media. “It has come to my attention, through my team, that there are numerous Facebook accounts that have been created,” he said, explaining how to identify his official Facebook account from the fake ones.
The “Ndikhokhele” hitmaker who is currently involved in legal battles over charges of rape, attempted murder, and kidnapping, said these fake accounts have overstepped boundaries by discussing Shebeshxt’s accident.
“I have nothing to do with that. I have said nothing about it and have no opinion. I don’t know the boy, I’ve never met the boy, and nobody should have an opinion either. Please, let’s allow him and his family to grieve in peace and respect each other’s privacy.”
Shebeshxt tragically lost his nine-year-old daughter, Onthatile Chuene, in a car accident on the R37 road near Smelters Mine in Limpopo on June 8. The artist was driving with his daughter and her mother, Kholofelo Chuene, when his Volkswagen Polo collided with a truck and overturned.
Following the accident, Kholofelo was hospitalized with moderate injuries. Shebeshxt, who sustained a broken leg, abdominal fracture, and head injuries, was transferred to Netcare Pholoso Hospital after allegedly being left unattended at a public hospital.
Reports have confirmed that Shebeshxt is now out of ICU, and he will be able to attend his daughter’s funeral on Saturday the 22nd of June, 2024.
