In a recent interview with The Times, the legendary supermodel Naomi Campbell opened up about her extraordinary modelling career and her latest adventure—motherhood.
The English model and media personality that is being honoured with an exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A), shared intimate insights into her life, including her experiences of becoming a mother in her 50s.
Naomi, who welcomed her two children at the ages of 51 and 53, spoke passionately about the profound impact they have had on her life. “My babies are everything to me. It’s made me fear for the future,” she admitted, highlighting the intense love and protective instincts that come with parenthood.
Despite her high-profile relationships over the years, Naomi revealed that finding a father for her children was never her goal. Instead, she embraces her role as a “single mother from a single mum,” expressing fulfilment in her independence and dedication to her children.
Confirming that she welcomed her children via surrogate, Naomi emphasized her commitment to providing them with the best possible future. “I hope for a better world for my children. They are 110 percent my priority. I have to be there for them on their first day at school,” she said, underlining her devotion to being a hands-on mother.
