    Orlando Pirates Confirm Multiple Departures, More Exits Expected

    Orlando Pirates have announced the departure of six players and one coach, with further exits anticipated as part of a significant squad overhaul. This wave of changes is aimed at strengthening the team for the upcoming Premier Soccer League (PSL) season and their return to the CAF Champions League.

    Confirmed Departures:

    • Bandile Shandu
    • Bongani Sam
    • Sandile Mthethwa
    • Vincent Pule
    • Monnapule Saleng
    • Deon Hotto

    Goalkeepers Richard Ofori and Siyabonga Mpontshane, along with midfielders Thabang Monare and Fortune Makaringe, have already left the club since initial reports.

    Potential Future Exits:

    According to Soccer Laduma, the following players are also rumoured to be on the exit list:

    • Bandile Shandu
    • Bongani Sam
    • Sandile Mthethwa
    • Vincent Pule
    • Monnapule Saleng
    • Deon Hotto

    These departures are part of the Pirates’ strategy to build depth and rejuvenate their squad for the next PSL season and the CAF Champions League.

    Loan Spells and Additional Moves:

    Up to seven players are expected to be loaned out, including:

    • Boiutumelo Radiopane
    • Azola Matrose
    • Azola Tshobeni
    • Cabo Mvhuno

    Additionally, the potential loan list may also include, Katlego Otladisa, Lesedi Kapinga, Thabiso Sesame, which means that 13 more players could be leaving the club, either permanently or on loan.

    These changes mirror the significant squad adjustments underway at their Soweto rivals, Kaizer Chiefs.
