Exciting news for Kwenzo Ngcobo’s fans, as the actor from The Wife is set to join the cast of e.tv’s popular soapie, Scandal!, in August. This revelation comes from entertainment commentator Mlu, sparking a wave of anticipation among viewers.
Ngcobo’s addition to the show comes after actors Matthews Rantsoma, who portrayed Nhlamulo, and Melusi Mbele, who played Jojo have just left. As confirmed by entertainment journalist Phil Mphela on July 10, the soapie will soon be airing new episodes seven days a week, an exciting shift for its dedicated audience.
“Scandal! to air every day. The e.tv soapie is expanding its episode offering. The show will be airing 7 days a week. Brand new episodes will now be broadcast from Mondays to Sundays,” Mphela announced.
As this point in time, Scandal! holds third place on e.tv with an impressive 3.2 million viewers, according to the Broadcasting Research Council of South Africa’s (BRCSA) June figures. The addition of Ngcobo is likely to boost these numbers even further.
