Seems like our celebrities never cease to amaze us as we learn that Tems studied in South Africa. In a now trending video she was seen talking with your friend about how and when they met, she mentions how they met in college in South Africa. Her ethnicity is Yoruba, the singer moved to Lekki and Ajah after living in Ilupeju. Tems completed her secondary schooling at Dowen College and her postsecondary study at Monash South Africa. She picked up the piano at school when her music teacher saw her.

With her being one of the top streamed female artists while studying economics at Monash in the middle of 2010 she started to focus on music seriously.

Tems however, once said on HOT97FM that she received her diploma a few years ago from the Independent Institute of Education in Johannesburg, South Africa, which was originally known as Monash University College.

She stated during the interview that she hadn’t used her certificate yet. She added that her time as an undergraduate prepared her for a “big break”.
