MSC Cruises is setting sail on an exhilarating new adventure, teaming up with the much-anticipated Formula 1® racing film from Apple Original Films. Produced by the legendary Jerry Bruckheimer and directed by Joseph Kosinski, this high-octane feature is revving up for a global release, hitting theatres and IMAX screens in North America on June 27, 2025, with an international debut starting on June 25, 2025, courtesy of Warner Bros. Pictures.
In a thrilling twist for fans of both cruising and racing, MSC Cruises’ logo will make its silver screen debut in the film. Expect to see it prominently displayed on the fictional APXGP team’s car and kit, and even on the track itself during the adrenaline-pumping race scenes.
The movie boasts an all-star cast led by Brad Pitt, who plays a seasoned driver making a dramatic return to the Formula 1® circuit. Joining him is rising star Damson Idris, portraying Pitt’s teammate in the fictional APXGP team. The cast also features the talents of Academy Award nominee Kerry Condon, Academy Award winner Javier Bardem, Emmy Award winner Tobias Menzies, and more. The film was uniquely shot during real Grand Prix weekends, blending the action of actual races with the intense drama of the storyline.
