Former Disney star Skai Jackson, well known for her role on “Jessie,” found herself in hot water recently after a public altercation with her boyfriend at Universal City Walk in Los Angeles. The 22-year-old actress was arrested for misdemeanour domestic violence after security spotted the couple engaged in a heated argument.

According to TMZ, Jackson reportedly pushed her boyfriend “more than once,” leading security to detain both of them until the police arrived. Despite both Jackson and her boyfriend denying any physical altercation and even claiming they were engaged and expecting a child, security footage told a different story. The video evidence led deputies to arrest Jackson for misdemeanour domestic battery. She was cited and released a few hours later.

The case is now in the hands of the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, which will determine whether formal charges should be filed.

Jackson and her boyfriend have kept their relationship largely out of the public eye until now, making this incident even more surprising for fans.
