Angel Reese Claps Back at Taylor Swift’s Fans in Three Words!

Angel Reese, never one to shy away from controversy, had a quick three-word response to the storm of online hate she’s been receiving lately. The basketball star, known for being outspoken, made waves yet again with a cheeky comeback that has fans buzzing.

In the latest episode of Reese’s podcast, Unapologetically Angel, she welcomed influencer Kayla Nicole, who famously dated NFL star Travis Kelce before his high-profile romance with Taylor Swift. During the candid conversation, Nicole opened up about the personal challenges she faced while dating Kelce and the tidal wave of online abuse that followed their relationship.

Naturally, some of Swift’s fiercely loyal fans, known as the “Swifties,” were less than pleased with Nicole’s remarks, and they didn’t hesitate to aim their sharp words at both Nicole and Reese. But Angel Reese, who has faced her fair share of backlash over the years, wasn’t about to sit quietly. In response to the mounting criticism, the Chicago Sky forward took to social media with a sly, backhanded message for the haters: “hating pays too 💅.”

The snarky post, complete with a nails-painting emoji, sent Swifties and Reese’s critics into a frenzy. Fans immediately began throwing her previous comments about embracing the “villain” role back in her face. One commenter sniped, “You took this opportunity to become one of the most unlikeable athletes playing today, lmao! Have fun, just don’t cry later when you’re still the villain, remember?”

Another fan took it a step further, accusing Reese of intentionally setting up Nicole to look bad on her podcast.

Despite the heat, Reese remains unbothered, continuing to lean into her “villain” persona with style. As for the podcast, Nicole shared deep insights into her relationship with Kelce and how the NFL star’s status made it difficult for them to grow as a couple. She also spoke vulnerably about the ongoing online hate she’s faced, saying, “I’d be lying if I said it doesn’t impact me. It does, even to this day. People are still debating why I’m worthless, why I’ll never have a career.”
