Nicki Minaj has done it again! The queen of rap is serving her fans with fresh songs to celebrate the 10th anniversary of her iconic third album, ‘The Pinkprint’.
Last week, Minaj dropped an anniversary edition of ‘The Pinkprint, gifting fans four brand-new songs that are already making waves. Among them is Turn Yo Cap Back, a sizzling collaboration with Swae Lee, and If It’s Okay, featuring the powerhouse duo of DJ extraordinaire David Guetta and Afrobeats sensation Davido. The new release also includes ‘Remember Me’, a soulful track with Parker Ighile, and Arctic Tundra, featuring the late Juice WRLD.
The Juice WRLD feature, adds an emotional depth to the album. Juice, born Jarad Anthony Higgins, tragically passed away in 2019 at just 21 years old. Minaj’s collaboration serves as a heartfelt nod to his legacy.
In true Minaj style, she took to Instagram to share her thoughts. “The Barbz have heard these songs before—due to their ‘sneaky leaks’ & sneaky links. However, the world didn’t hear them all yet & I love every single one of them,” she wrote. “I hope it feels nostalgic & magical to you.”
As always, Minaj showed gratitude to those who’ve supported her journey, from her collaborators to the producers, radio stations, and streaming platforms that have championed her work over the years.
When ‘The Pinkprint’ originally dropped in 2014, it was an instant hit. Debuting at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, the album later achieved double platinum status in the U.S. and secured a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album in 2016. The record gave us unforgettable hits like Anaconda, Pills N Potions, Truffle Butter (with Drake and Lil Wayne), and The Night Is Still Young. Minaj also joined forces with heavyweights like Beyoncé, Ariana Grande, and Meek Mill, further solidifying her place as an industry trailblazer.
Last December, Nicki Minaj dropped her fifth studio album, Pink Friday 2, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, making her the female rapper with the most No. 1 albums in history. Viral tracks like FTCU, Beep Beep, and Pink Friday Girls had fans buzzing across social media.
Now, Minaj is gearing up for another milestone. She recently announced a special anniversary edition of Pink Friday 2, titled ‘The Hiatus’, set to drop on December 13.
