It looks like Serena Williams’ 14-month-old daughter, Adira, is already picking up her mom’s love for tennis, sort of. On November 4, the tennis legend shared a playful moment on Instagram, capturing her and her mini-me on a tennis court.
In the video, Adira clutches a tennis ball as her mom encourages her to drop it in a basket. But Adira has other plans! The little one throws the ball against a fence and strolls over to a nearby bench, as her mom chuckles. “She was just doing it, man,” Williams laughs. “We turned on the camera, she don’t want to do it.”
With a cheeky caption, Williams teased, “When’s too early? @adiraohanian,” hinting that Adira’s tennis career might still be in its early stages, but it’s coming.
This isn’t the only adorable family moment Serena has shared lately. In October, the retired tennis champ took both her daughters, Adira and 7-year-old Olympia, to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Miami. Serena looked chic in a black mini dress, holding baby Adira, who rocked jean shorts, a white top, and a beaded choker for a bit of concert flair. Olympia, ever the fashionista, sparkled in a replica of Swift’s Lover bodysuit with dazzling cowboy boots to match. Serena captioned the snap, “This is us… getting ready for @taylorswift ✨,” showing the world that her family has great taste in music, and style.
