Chris Brown performed two sold-out concerts at FNB stadium this weekend, welcoming more than 180 000 fans. The Sunday night featured SA’s very own R&B star, Elaine, who surprised concert goers as she took to the stage alongside Major League DJz.
“Opening for Chris Brown at the FNB Stadium this year was truly surreal,” Elaine said.
“I’m incredibly grateful for the platform I’ve been given and for my loyal fans, whose support means the world to me. More than anything, I’m humbled to be at the forefront of the South African R&B movement and to be making waves on a global scale. It’s also been a beautiful journey to witness the rise of RnP (Rhythm and Piano)—a genre I’ve poured my heart into—becoming a growing force in our music culture. The entire experience is a testament to the power of passion and perseverance.”
Elaine surprised the audience with a fresh Amapiano remix of her hit single You’re the One, blending effortlessly with Major League DJz’s Amapiano beats.
Elaine recently dropped her highly anticipated debut album, Stone Cold Heart. Known for her sultry R&B vocals and introspective songwriting, Elaine breaks new ground with this visual album – a compelling combination of music and cinematography that allows fans to experience each track in a deeper, more immersive way. Stone Cold Heart represents a profound artistic evolution, blending Elaine’s signature R&B sound with the rhythms of Amapiano and house music.
