After a year that changed his life forever, South Africa’s musician, Kaylow is making an inspiring return to the music scene.
Following a near-fatal accident on September 20 last year, which left him unable to walk, Kaylow is back with a powerful new single titled Good Morning—a heartfelt anthem of hope, resilience, and fresh beginnings.
In a recent interview with DJ Sabby on Metro FM, Kaylow spoke publicly for the first time about his recovery journey.
The accident, which he said left him dead for 30 minutes, is a chapter in his life that has reshaped his outlook on both music and life itself.
Miraculously, Kaylow woke up, and after months of recovery, he’s ready to share his story and his music with the world.
“Good Morning” is more than just a song—it’s a declaration of triumph over adversity.
As Kaylow reflects on his recovery, he sees each new day as a chance to embrace life anew.
“I got into this accident and I’ve learned actually navigating navigating this thing called our body, like, this whole physical aspect of life, like, the structure is not is not as easy as what what it seems, you know, hence, we have to grow into walking and crawling and all these things.
“So for me, the most important aspect of life right now is that you need to wake up in the morning and carry your mind. Allow your mind to carry your body to where your dreams are.” Kaylow shared.
Kaylow explained that the song is a reminder that every sunrise offers a new opportunity to try again, no matter the challenges faced the day before.
