Hollywood’s elite are grappling with the destruction of their multimillion-dollar homes in Pacific Palisades, as wildfires continue to ravage the area.
The fires, fueled by dry conditions and high winds, have swept through Southern California in recent weeks, causing widespread devastation.
Several high-profile properties have been reduced to ash, leaving many residents, including A-list celebrities, facing significant losses.
Among those affected is American actor, comedian, and filmmaker Billy Crystal.
The When Harry Met Sally star revealed that his home of 46 years was completely destroyed, with only a tennis court left standing.
In a statement to The Independent TV, Crystal and his wife, Janice, expressed their heartbreak: “Words cannot describe the enormity of the devastation we are witnessing and experiencing. Janice and I lived in our home since 1979.
“We raised our children and grandchildren here. Every inch of our house was filled with love. Beautiful memories that can’t be taken away. We are heartbroken, of course, but with the love of our children and friends, we will get through this.”
In another devastating revelation, singer Jhené Aiko shared on Instagram that her Los Angeles home in the Pacific Palisades had also burned to the ground.
She posted a heartbreaking message: “Me and my children’s home is gone burned to the ground with all of our things inside.”
She added, “Lord have mercy. Thankful we still have each other, starting from scratch. My heart is so heavy.”
Other celebrities who have been affected by the wildfires include Tina Knowles-Lawson (Beyoncé’s mother), Jamie Lee Curtis, Eugene Levy, John Goodman, Spencer Pratt, Ricki Lake, and Paris Hilton.
