McDonald’s is making history by partnering with WNBA star Angel Reese to launch “The Angel Reese Special”—the brand’s first-ever signature meal featuring a female athlete.
Dropping on February 10, the meal includes a BBQ Bacon Quarter Pounder with Cheese, medium fries, and a refreshing medium Hi-C Orange Lavaburst.
In a statement, Reese remarked that McDonald’s has always been a big part of her life, from grabbing a McChicken® Sandwich as a kid to being named a McDonald’s All American in 2020.
“It’s really a dream come true to be the first-ever female athlete to have my own meal and be a part of McDonald’s amazing basketball legacy. I hope the Angel Reese Special inspires young athletes everywhere to never give up on pursuing their dreams.”
Reese, who dominated on the court in her Rookie Year with the WNBA last season, is now bringing her star power to the fast-food world.
Off the court, she made headlines with a historic partnership which included a clothing collab with Kid Super.
