Rick Ross, Usimamane stir buzz with Cape Town collab

American rapper Rick Ross touched down in the Mother City on Monday, and fans have been buzzing ever since.

The “Boss” has been sharing glimpses of his South African journey on social media, soaking up Cape Town’s scenic beauty.

Videos of Ross admiring the ocean and embracing the local vibe have gone viral, leaving everyone wondering what brings him to South Africa.

Turns out, the Grammy-nominated artist is rumoured to be shooting a music video with rising star Usimamane.

The video is said to be for Usimamane’s hit single, “Dangerous II,” featuring Rick Ross, from his deluxe album 20th: Deluxe

The track has been making waves since its release, and a high-profile video featuring Ross could take it to the next level.

Usimamane fueled the speculation by sharing a video of himself with Ross, captioned, “@richforever, thank you.”

The cryptic post has sent fans into a frenzy, eager to see what the two artists have in store.

Ross’s trip to Cape Town hasn’t been all work, though. He was spotted shooting a Pick n Pay commercial and connecting with local talent.

Former Big Brother Mzansi contestant Yolanda Munyai secured an exclusive podcast interview with the rapper for her show, Loud Wednesdays with Yolanda.

“Just wrapped an exclusive interview with the boss @richforever. The episode drops next Wednesday!” Yolanda announced on Instagram.

Sikhulile Nzuza, Gamma Strategic Partnerships culture and operations lead, spoke to TshisaLIVE about Ross’s visit, saying, “Gamma is proud to continue to invest in proudly South African artists to collaborate with our international partners such as Rick Ross to ensure our local artists have a global presence.”

Whether it’s filming a music video, promoting SA’s talent, or simply enjoying the Cape Town lifestyle, Rick Ross’s visit is already making waves.

Keep your eyes peeled—if the rumours are true, Dangerous II is about to take the music world by storm.
