DJ Khaled Unleashes Action-Packed Trailer for 14th Album, Aalam of God

When DJ Khaled is in album mode, it’s nothing short of a spectacle. The We the Best mogul is back with his 14th studio album, Aalam of God, which is a title that translates to “the word of God” in Arabic, and, in true Khaled fashion, he’s making sure the world knows about it in the grandest way possible.

To set the stage for his latest masterpiece, Khaled dropped a blockbuster seven-minute trailer on Tuesday (Feb. 4), directed by the visionary Eif Rivera. And this isn’t just any album announcement, it’s an adrenaline-fueled heist scene, packed with betrayal, and high-speed chases.

The cinematic clip finds Khaled in the heart of chaos, clutching onto the files for his upcoming album as a group of elite assailants attempts to steal them. The stakes are incredibly high, especially since the project features not one but two new tracks from Drake. With a briefcase full of heat, Khaled fights to keep his album out of enemy hands.

As he dodges danger, Mark Wahlberg enters the mix, leading a team of relentless robbers. “Did you get it?” Wahlberg asks his crew. “This guy’s got two Drake songs on there. What if he’s got another 100-bar from Jay-Z and that thing gets out on the f—ing street?” Now that is a plot twist we nobody saw coming.

In a turn of events straight out of a Hollywood thriller, Khaled thinks he’s found safety with Anthony Ramos, only to be double-crossed over a meal at a Jamaican restaurant. With a gun pointed at him, Khaled refuses to back down. “Look how far we came, and you f—ing worried about what they saying?” he fires back at Ramos’ character, Tone. “You know our saying, ‘Win with us or watch us win.’” And in classic Khaled fashion, he doesn’t leave without the final word: “One more thing, Tone, you a piece of s—!”

The trailer closes with an unreleased snippet titled “God Is on Our Side,” as Khaled makes his way to a private jet, completely unscathed. Before taking off, he drops another bombshell: “Send Rihanna the record.” Could we be getting a Rihanna collaboration on Aalam of God? If anyone can make it happen, it’s Khaled.

Alongside the announcement, Khaled took to Instagram to rally his fans and said:  “DRAKE’S BACK TO WORK… SO AM I! THIS THE ONE WITH ✌🏽DRAKES.” He also tagged producer Ayo Juan while teasing the potential Rihanna track, adding, “Matter of fact… send that record over to @badgalriri … u know… I JUST WANNA BREATHE – THE AIR THAT RIHANNA BREATHES – yo RIH everyTING locked.”

Set to arrive later in 2025, Aalam of God marks a defining moment in Khaled’s career. “This is not my last album—it’s my Black album,” he declared, channeling his inner Jay-Z.

With all this hype, one thing’s for sure: when Khaled says he’s got another one, he means it.
