Tyla has officially secured her spot among the biggest names in fashion and entertainment, joining the exclusive Met Gala Costume Institute Benefit Host Committee.
The announcement came alongside other high-profile figures such as André 3000, Simone Biles, Doechii, Ayo Edebiri, and more, all of whom will help lead this prestigious event.
While much of the guest list remains under wraps, the Met Gala also revealed the host committee for this year’s event.
Typically composed of influential figures from art, film, literature, music, sports, and beyond, this year’s lineup promises to be as star-studded as ever.
The announcement was made on Tuesday by Met Gala co-chairs Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams, and the legendary Anna Wintour, with honorary chair LeBron James also lending his support.
In addition to the host committee, the Met Gala revealed the dress code: Tailored for You.
The theme, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, promises to celebrate and elevate Black fashion, encouraging attendees to showcase a blend of sharp, personal tailoring that reflects the influence of Black style in fashion.
