Bokang Montjane-Tshabalala to Lead Miss Supranational South Africa as National Director

In an exciting new chapter for South African pageantry, former Miss South Africa 2010, Bokang Montjane Tshabalala, has officially been appointed as the new National Director of Miss Supranational South Africa.

The announcement marks a full-circle moment for Montjane, who has spent over a decade advocating for the empowerment of women, particularly those from disadvantaged and rural communities.

“I am deeply honoured and incredibly excited to officially announce my appointment as the new National Director of Miss Supranational South Africa,” Montjane shared with an infectious sense of pride and passion.

“This new role is more than just a professional milestone for me—it’s a continuation of my life’s work, a journey dedicated to inspiring, uplifting, and unlocking the full potential of the South African girl child.”

For Montjane, pageantry is not just about beauty; it’s a platform for change. Over the years, she has built a legacy of service and empowerment through various initiatives aimed at supporting young women. She believes that, when rooted in purpose, pageantry can serve as a powerful tool for transformation—a philosophy she plans to carry forward in her new role with Miss Supranational South Africa.

“Pageantry, when rooted in purpose, is a powerful tool for transformation,” she said. “I’ve always been passionate about creating spaces that inspire women to embrace their power, celebrate their uniqueness, and make a difference in their communities.”

Montjane’s appointment as National Director is more than just a career milestone—it’s a testament to her unwavering dedication to nation-building and sisterhood. As the new face behind Miss Supranational South Africa, she is ready to elevate the platform and build on the incredible legacy the Miss Supranational brand has established in the country.

“Miss Supranational has already built a strong and inspiring track record in South Africa, producing women who represent not only beauty and grace but also purpose, strength, and vision,” Montjane said. “I am thrilled to be part of this global movement and to continue its legacy in South Africa.”

Her vision for the Miss Supranational South Africa platform is clear: she aims to position the competition as not only a shining light on the international stage but also a vehicle for social change in South Africa. Montjane and her team plan to identify and support women who are not only passionate about making a difference but also eager to lead, uplift others, and represent the diverse beauty of South Africa.

“I look forward to this new journey with all of you, and I can’t wait to see how we will collectively continue to build this platform for change, empowerment, and opportunity,” Montjane added.

Gerhard Parzutka von Lipinski, Founder and President of Miss Supranational, also expressed his excitement about Montjane’s appointment, praising her deep understanding of international pageantry and her genuine love for the industry.

“We are delighted to welcome Bokang Montjane to the Supra Family,” Parzutka von Lipinski said.

“With her knowledge, experience, and passion, I know the South African franchise is in extremely capable hands. My team and I will be supporting Bokang every step of the way as we embark on this new chapter together in South Africa.”
