Hot on the heels of its successful online “Play Your Part” school’s challenge in the North West, Brand South Africa is encouraging learners from Gauteng, the Eastern and the Northern Cape to contribute to their communities and in the process, stand the chance to win R50,000 worth of prize for their school.
From the 12th – 26th October, Grade 11 and 12 learners from three schools in each of the participating Province, will challenge each other to make a difference in their communities as part of the Brand South Africa “Play Your Part” campaign.
The learners enter by sharing their activities on Facebook and tagging @OfficialBrandSouthAfrica @PlayYourPart and #GetInvolved. This is the third time this version of the “Play Your Part” campaign has engaged with learners online with each learner entering by sharing their activities on Facebook and tagging @OfficialBrandSouthAfrica @PlayYourPart and #GetInvolved.
“The youth are the future of the country and this future is moulded from the contributions they make within their communities,” says Sithembile Ntombela – Brand South Africa’s General Manager for Marketing.
“Play Your Part is a cornerstone of what Brand South Africa is all about,” continues Ntombela.
“Our hope is that this campaign, will inspire the nation to get involved in their own communities, as each of us can make a difference as active citizens – no role is too small, and every contribution makes a big impact on the individuals affected.”
