Rapper AKA reveals his plans to make more time for interviews at local community radio stations. Supa Mega revealed this after a Moutse Community Radio station DJ, Klaas Ditshego, asked him on Twitter why he doesn’t do interviews at such stations.
The world is yours and fela in Versace hit maker has stressed the importance of such stations to musicians like him. The rapper replied to @Toy326: “Community radio stations are super important. I definitely need to make more time to come through to them more often. Which station you need me at bruh?” The star’s fans were impressed that as big as AKA is now, he was still willing to make time for small radio stations that are not commercial or public radio stations.
Most times, local community radio and television stations hardly get the opportunity to conduct interviews with big stars like Supa Mega, and normally they would say that it is mainly because they are too occupied with big projects. The Twitter user appreciated AKA’s response and he wrote: “Thank you Mega for acknowledging that community radio stations are important regardless of how big you’ve become.”
Thanduxolo Jindela said: “That’s the secret of a successful PR and with loyal fans. Do it Kay.” Since AKA’s tweet, community radio stations from across the country have flooded his comment section with requests to interview him.
