AKA ventures into the restaurant business!

This year has proven to a lot of people including our celebrities that one cannot rely on a single stream of income.. you need at least four! AKA is one of those celebrities who has an eye for opportunities and never backs down when one emerges.

The rapper, whose real name is Kiernan Forbes has just made a huge announcement on his social media platforms saying he has acquired part ownership of his very own restaurant.

After buying a huge stake of an existing restaurant previously called Cuba Lounge, he has re-named it to Cuba Lounge BLK. The restaurant and night-club is based in Durban, at the Moses Mabhida Stadium complex. AKA describes this new business venture as the best and most ambitious he has embarked on this year alone, “Tomorrow I announce the most ambitious move of my career thus far. I’m excited.”

The rapper will officially launch his latest alcoholic beverage AKA Cruz Vodka at the said venue this Saturday December 12 in Durban. “This Saturday we launch @Cruzvodka #BananaDeluxe at @cubaloungeblk located inside the Moses Mabhida Stadium Complex. Why is this launch different … well, because I’m launching in my own venue,” he announced.

Expressing his excitement AKA said having his own vodka brand named after his is not enough, so he wanted to look for a way the Megacy will get to experience it by getting his own spot of course, “For me having my own Vodka is not enough … I now need my very own venue for you to experience it in. This has now been achieved with @cubaloungeblk.”

With his latest WIN, AKA also revealed that he might need to move to KwaZulu-Natal and live there permanently so that he focus a lot on his business venture.
