The Ballito Pro has always been about more than just world-class surfing—it’s a cultural celebration of music, community, and coastal life. This year’s theme, Sea. Sound. Waves, brings that connection front and centre, with the return of the Ballito Pro Music Concerts Presented by Corona, now expanded with an extra night of live music and nostalgia.
Taking place from 2 July to 4 July at Salt Rock Main Beach, the 2025 concert series promises an unforgettable lineup featuring some of South Africa’s most iconic acts and rising stars—all set against the backdrop of the country’s longest-running professional surf event.
Kicking off the concert series on July 2 from 17:30 until 21:30 is The Ballito Pro Infinite Playlist—an audio-visual journey through South Africa’s surf and music culture, curated by Gary Green, managing director of Sector Apparel.

Already a hit in Durban and Cape Town, this one-night-only showcase features performances from legendary South African band members including:
- Just Jinger
They’re joined by local surf-musicians and special guests like world longboarding champ Steven Sawyer, and coastal favourites Ryan Logie, Kevin Colby, and Warren Dixon.
The legendary Thursday (July 3) concert from 17:30 until 22:30 returns with a heavy-hitting DJ lineup:
- DJ Mörda (formerly of Black Motion), who’s making waves globally with tracks like Uxolo and Takala
Expect high-energy sets and serious heat from the decks all night long.
