The Luce being electric isn’t the hard part, Ferrari can build an electric car that’s the easy part the hard part is making the electric car feel like a Ferrari. The hard part is making it feel like a Ferrari.

A Ferrari isn’t just fast car, it sounds a certain way and it responds a certain way. It makes you feel something when you drive it take away the engine roar, and you have to replace it with something else something just as powerful.

“Can the Luce be quiet at the kerb and then blow your mind on a back road without making a sound?”

That’s the question Ferrari is trying to answer. Hamilton is excited about how they might do it through clever engineering, smarter handling, better feel through the steering wheel. Leclerc wants to know if they’ve got it right. The two reactions, together, are actually perfect.

Nobody was rude about petrol engines or too loud about electric ones they both kept their cool and honestly? That was the smartest thing they could do. It kept everyone talking.

The Luce is now part of the Ferrari story whether we like it or not. Fans are already obsessed reading every interview, watching every video, debating specs they don’t fully understand yet. Ferrari has done this before, they know how to build up to a moment.

Watch for the first time one of them drives it at Fiorano Ferrari’s private test track. Watch for the lap time that’s “not official” but somehow everyone hears about anyway. Watch for the moment Leclerc steps out, says nothing for a second, and then nods.

That nod will say everything.

“The future has already started. The only question is how good the silence will sound.”
