Kim Kardashian is proving that when it comes to Halloween, she’s willing to take things a little closer to home! She left social media buzzing after transforming herself into her eldest daughter, North West, for an early Halloween look.
Kim shared a series of pictures and videos on Instagram showing off the dramatic transformation, inspired by North’s signature alternative style.
Kim traded her usual glamorous look for waist-length turquoise-blue hair, dramatic lashes, faux facial piercings, black grills and long, chrome-style nails. She completed the outfit with a graphic T-shirt, a striped long-sleeved top, a pleated skirt, chunky platform sneakers and statement jewellery, including a skull necklace similar to the one North has been spotted wearing.
Kim didn’t stop at the outfit! She even recreated some of her daughter’s signature poses, making the resemblance even more convincing.
North has been making headlines for her bold fashion choices, including blue hair, grills and gothic-inspired outfits.
Her appearance has attracted mixed reactions online, with some social media users criticising her style because of her age. Earlier this month, North addressed the backlash during a TikTok livestream with her mother, pushing back against people who labelled her look “demonic”.
North made it clear that people should not judge her character based on how she dresses. She also clarified that her facial piercings are not real, while Kim has previously explained that she sets boundaries around permanent piercings.
Kim, however, has consistently supported her daughter’s creativity and desire to experiment with her personal style.
