Mzansi Magic has officially announced that Mnakwethu will be back for its fifth season, with popular polygamy advocate Musa Mseleku returning as the host. The new season premieres on Tuesday, 7 July 2026, at 20:00, with new episodes airing every Tuesday night.
For four seasons, Mnakwethu has sparked major conversations across the country about love, culture, and traditional marriage. The show follows married men who approach their wives to ask for permission to enter into a polygamous marriage, known as isithembu.
As the mediator, Mseleku helps families navigate these difficult and emotional conversations.
