Sunday night at SunBet Arena at Times Square in Pretoria was supposed to be a full-on Summer Walker experience… well, until it wasn’t. Fans came ready for a night of soulful vibes and unforgettable tunes, but things took a sharp turn when Summer’s performance was abruptly cut short.
Summer spilled the tea herself. The promoter of ‘ In the City’ festival, apparently in full panic mode, was in her earpiece, insisting she cut her set short. To top it all, before her performance even started, despite her arriving early, they had already changed her time slot three times. Summer was told that if she didn’t wrap it up soon, the promoter would get a fine. The pressure was just getting worse.
Summer later dropped an apology video for her fans and everyone who attended the ‘In The City’ festival.
