In a heartfelt Instagram post following the news of Clifford’s passing, Nkayi recounted personal stories that revealed the warmth and generosity behind the iconic jeweller’s public persona.

“AUNTY JENNA. Thank you for a wonderful life. Thank you for being an integral part of my family.”

Clifford played a central role in some of Unathi’s most intimate life moments. She recalled how Jenna, together with her loved ones, helped orchestrate a surprise engagement in Madrid and later designed her wedding bands.

“You’d call and say, ‘Be here in an hour, I’m making you oxtail.’ We’d sit in silence in your kitchen while you poured your heart into that pot of love.”
