If you’re a Beyoncé fan whose New Year’s resolution was to spend less money on Beyoncé stuff, I’m sorry to report that your queen will be one of the headliners at the 2018 edition of Coachella and your mettle is about to be tested. Just when you thought it was safe to commit your usual Beyoncé ticket fund to boring things like paying rent!.
The festival announced the news on Tuesday (03/01/2018) with a tweet showing the full poster. Bey’s fellow headliners will be Eminem and the Weeknd, and other performers include SZA, Kelela, David Byrne, HAIM, St. Vincent, Cardi B, Migos, Angel Olsen, and Jessie Ware.
Beyoncé was originally set to perform at Coachella in 2017, but postponed her appearance on the advice of her doctors after she became pregnant with Rumi and Sir. Though this will be her first time headlining the festival, Beyoncé made a cameo in 2014 during her sister Solange’s set, dancing with her during the song ‘Losing You.’ Tickets for this year’s fest go on sale Friday, Jan. 5 at 12 p.m. PST.
Don’t forget to catch local star, DJ Black Coffee performing at Coachella this year too!.
